SSFCU Online Banking — Sign In & Features Guide

SSFCU online banking is the secure member portal where Security Service Federal Credit Union members manage accounts on the web — paying bills, moving money and reading statements. This is an independent member guide: it explains how Security Service online banking works and links to the official sign-in, but it is not the official site and has no password field.

Whether you are enrolling for the first time or returning after a while, the safe path is always the same: reach the official Security Service website yourself and enter your username and password only on that official page. Below you will find how sign-in works, what enrollment involves, and the everyday features that make up SSFCU online banking. When you are ready, go to the official SSFCU sign in to open your account.

What you can do in Security Service online banking

  1. Bill pay — send one-time or scheduled payments to companies and people, and track what has cleared, all from the accounts dashboard.
  2. Recurring payments — automate rent, utilities and loan payments so they draft on a set date without you logging in each month.
  3. Transfers — move money between your SSFCU accounts instantly, or link an outside bank for external transfers using the routing number 314088637.
  4. Reorder checks — request a new box of checks for a checking account without a phone call or branch visit.
  5. Secure messages — contact the credit union through the encrypted message center inside online banking rather than ordinary email.
  6. Card controls — lock or unlock a debit or credit card, set travel notices and review recent transactions if a card is misplaced.
  7. e-Statements — switch to paperless and view or download monthly statements and tax documents from the document center.

These tasks all happen after you sign in on the official site. This page describes them so you know what to expect, but it never asks you to enter a login here.

How sign-in works

Signing in to Security Service online banking takes a few seconds once you are enrolled. Open the official SSFCU website by typing the address into your browser or using a saved bookmark, then enter your username and password on that official page. Security Service adds multi-factor verification, so on a new device you may be asked to approve a one-time passcode or device prompt — enter that code on the official site only, never read it aloud to a caller. If a sign-in ever fails, our SSFCU login help covers forgotten usernames, password resets and the safe way back in.

Sign in only on the official site: This guide never shows a login box. Reach Security Service online banking by typing the official address yourself or using the button below — not from a link in an email or text. Security Service will never call or text asking for your one-time passcode, activation code, username or password.

Go to the official SSFCU sign in to log in on the official website.

Enrolling in online banking

First-time members enroll directly on the official Security Service website — enrollment is never completed on this guide. On the official site, choose the new-user or enroll option, confirm your membership number and personal details, and set a username along with a strong passphrase you do not reuse anywhere else. From there you can turn on multi-factor verification, add payees for bill pay and link the mobile app.

If you are not yet a member, start with our membership guide to check eligibility, then return here to sign in. Not sure you are in the right place for a particular task? The account services page explains servicing options, and the member guide home links to every section. When your enrollment is done, sign in on the official SSFCU site.

Online banking on any device

The web portal and the mobile app share the same credentials, so what you set up in one appears in the other. On a computer you get the full accounts dashboard for bill pay, transfers and statements; on a phone the official Security Service app adds mobile deposit and mobile wallet on top of the same features. Whichever you use, you always sign in on official Security Service software — the website for the browser, and the official Apple App Store or Google Play listing for the app. Our mobile banking guide walks through the app in detail.
